Hey, I haven't really done a blog recently, but then again I'm a bit inconsistent with my posts.
In my News, my eldest sister and her boyfriend have bought a house, got the keys and are now starting to rip off the wallpaper and get down to work. Its really quite scary, its like shes a proper adult leaving house and everything, but I suppose she is 25 lol. I will post a photo of it, if I ever remember.

Well I haven't done a post in ages and obvious 23.00 would be the appropriate time to do so. I have got so much graphics to do, as I hand in on Wednesday or Friday, but I think i have to hand it in on Wednesday D: shite.

Anyway, gone back to my year 7 obsession in Franz Ferdinand, only their first album tho, such an unbelievable album. However, all off their coverart is constructivist which links to Futurism, which is basically what my Unit 3 Graphics is revolved around.... shite.

Happy New Decade as well - this new decade we will spend most of it in our twenties, in university, some of it working (hopefully). It will be a decade in which we are official adults for most or all of it. We all will meet lots of new friends and have a new government ( probs Tory) for most it :/

and guess what in 2020 we'll all be 27/ 28 ! the wrong side of twenty lol

As I haven't blogged in a while, but can't think of anything cos I'm feeling rough... I think I'll talk about all my symptoms

1. Sore throat - I earlier sounded like my voice was breaking, and cough all the time, which hurts my throat, making it worse
2. Headache - not that bad, just annoying
3. I bit my tongue earlier and it still hurts
4. I burnt the top of my mouth with a harvester burger, this and the biting of tongue made eating hard :(
5. My Jaw hurts - dunno why? I think it might be to do with the cold wind.

I know numeros 3 y 4 are self inflicted, but come onn there's like a war going on in my mouth and head generally.

I will no longer feel pity on myself.

anybody else wanna share illnesses? probs not, not that interesting really is it?

Hello! How is everyone! I'm in a strange mood, feel like that whale in the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy... ermm ok?

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... I feel kinda bad about missing the school photo's, I think I must have been in a real grumpy mood when I woke up this morning :-/ I'm sorry guys :-(

anyway.. Went to London on Saturday. Took as many photo's (119 to be exact) of tall, grey, ugly but interesting buildings, as I could until my camera ran out of battery :/

I also went to see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus which was really good, its a shame that Heath Ledger only did the real life bits, Jonny Depp's part was like 5 minutes long, Jude Law was well... Jude Law, Colin Farell did quite well considering its not really his thing. The graphic's in it were amazing and you can tell the Monty Python mind of Terry Gilliam, I've always loved his animations. As I said to Caitlin I think I'll give the film 3 Stars. Its worth the money to see once :)

I'm sad I won't be able to see Harry Potter until I come back from Hols. So Annoyed, it looks pretty good aswell. And all the TV channels have to put good stuff on in the summer to annoy you! That always happens grr. I really want to see that Desperate Romantics thing, mainly cos its got that guy from Being Human, who I think is pretty yummy... :)

...and of course its about artists *cough cough* lol funny sideburns

But anyway went to Wales for the weekend, which was good Swansea Uni was ok, I still think Nottingham is top of my list.

On Saturday and Sunday, I went to see some of my family in the valleys, in a town called Ebbw Vale. Most of my roots in Ebbw Vale are of heavy industry, My Grandad I think worked in the Mines down near Cwm but most.. actually all of my Uncles worked at the steelworks. The works closed down in 2002 so the towns been down in the dumps ever since, but it seems to be getting a bit better now. But anyway on saturday lunch we went to a pub in Crickhowell, which is a really nice village. Anyway heres some a pic of the bridge there...

Sorry for the no post in a while buisiness. Seems like everybody else hasn't been up to the blogging mood either. Its not that I havent wanted to post, I just haven't had the time or been busy, but I'm just making up lame excuses really.

Well went to Nottingham and Loughborough last week going to Swansea on the 10th. Looking around universities make you think about how things are happening too quickly. You have to choose something that you (might) have to do for the rest of life when your only 16/17 . At the moment I still have doubts about what I wanna do. Its like I really would like to design stuff, thats why I wanna to product design. But Graphics is one of my favourite subjects, and after I finished college on friday it made me realise how much I like graphics. And I would love to do that but tbh there is no chance of me earning any money unless I was amazing, which I am not, and the hassle getting into university for arts courses is something I can't be bothered with. I will find a way of incorporating graphics into my line of work ( whatever that is?).

I've used the word incorporate, incorporating and incorporating alot recently?

But I really liked Nottingham and Loughborough, probably Nottingham more so. 'Robin Hood, Robin Hood de de de de....

Johnson came 3rd aparently in sports day... not too bad :)

I have just watched a Film about Wilfred Owen, It was amazing, he made all his poems on duty in World War One. And sadly died just before the Victory for Allied forces was proclaimed on the 4th November 1918. "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori." means "it is sweet and right to die for your country."

Hm, nothing interesting seems to be happening at the moment, even though it was my birthday on Monday. Birthdays always seem a bit of a let down, people just hype it all up. Yeah.. 17 can drive and give blood, big deal... just means you have to pay shed loads for adult prices, but still by law your technically not an adult yet.
AS exams coming, nil revision ( yeah I think I might be in a bad mood judging by how this blog is turning out to be), well I have done some, but by comparison to everybody else. I don't know why I've just come to a stage where I just can't be bothered with school anymore. Coming up to 6 years in secondary school and 13 years generally in school, now I just want to laze around eating biscuits all day.

I've just realised that I used to collect rocks when I was younger, completely forgot about that.... I was a strange child. I miss that...being a kid, not collecting rocks.

I came up with the most random questions ever from that inter house quiz, so hahaha, nobody will ever know the answers ( or answer, it was only one question I suggested)

I'm being a bit weird so, I'm gonna go to sleep

Hello again!

didn't know I'd blog back this fast but I had a great day today. The day was basically a lazing about sort of day but the evening....well the evening. (and for you with dirty minds - NOT LIKE THAT) I saw Ed Byrne this evening, most I've laughed in ages.. He's was better than bill bailey's last tour " tinsel worm" but maybe a bit behind Dara O'Brien. But anyway, most fun in a while and made me forget about all of the revision I haven't done...EKKK!

hmm...I might be writing this blog, cos I've had a pint of cider (Strongbow if you would like to know) so therefore a bit tipsy...but its wearing off...fuck I need the loo.........................(pardon my french)

Anyway, he was brill and I really want to see more comedy now, I can't wait till I'm 18 and a students YAY! Comedy Store here I come! His stuff on weddings was hilarious! I might post some videos of his work when I can be bothered to download stuff....and when I'm sober :)

Anyway had a pretty good week! even tho nil revision done..eh I need to stop reminding myself. Did bits and bobs on Monday and Tuesday. Went to London on Wednesday and Went to the Zoo, got real close to a gorilla look...

Also, went to see Jersey Boys! Which, as you'd expect was amazing :)

Went to see The Boat That Rocked a 2nd time on Thursday with Katie and Jen, so much better the 2nd time. And as Jen said it was probably because of the company.

On Friday had to do chemistry revision at school but that was fine, Dr Oliver is a joker. After that me, Jen and Rach pigged our way through thousands of calories.

Which brings us back to Saturday, which you know what I did. Except I have finally decided what I want to do in University which is.....

Well this is strange, my first blog at 2.44am on a tuesday morning. Can't sleep so what else can I do... other than try to sleep. I don't know why I created a blog, I'm not really the most avid writter and I've got lots to do at the moment, so this is just a means of procrastination anyway.
I probably will forget about this in a weeks time anyway...

OH Well! Listening to The Boat That Rocked soundtrack at the moment...and it sure does rock. It has those sort of tracks that you've heard so much, from the TV and parents...etc. But never I actually knew who actually sung them and what the track names are. One song of that discription is 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' by Procol Harum, is the most played track according to http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7996979.stm but I never knew what it was called till I got The Boat That Rocked soundtrack. GET IT! Its one of the best soundtrack albums in the world, in league with the sleepless in seattle soundtrack and all those musical ones.

Movie that looks amazing but makes me feel a bit geekish is new Star Trek film out 8/5/09 (or 5/8/09 if your american, why do they do that I thought it was out the 5th of august for a while, its like 9/11 should be 11/9, because what actually happened on the 9th of november then?)
Anyway, It looks pretty good, and apparently someone peed their pants after seeing a screening because it was so good, I heard that off the radio...I think. Anyway watch this...

Hehe Simon Pegg is in it and that guy that plays sylar in Heroes is Spock. Cooool

Speaking of Simon Pegg, he made a sitcom in 1999 called Spaced, which is AMAZING. He co-stars (Tim) and writes with Jessica Stevenson (Daisy) and it has Nick Frost (Mike) and a few random actors that I feel bad that I don't know their names. Also a tiny appearence from Bill Bailey who works at a comic book store with Tim (Simon Pegg). Download for free off 4OD or buy in the shops its up to you, but just watch it!

Anyway better be off, its half 3 and I need to go to the dentist in about 5 hours.
